Message from the CEO
Over the past two decades, my career has been dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based medical care across Japan, the United States, and South Asia. I completed my early clinical training in both Japan and the U.S., followed by five years in medical oncology at the National Cancer Center Hospital in Tokyo and sixteen years as an attending oncologist and educator at St. Luke’s International Hospital.
During my time at St. Luke’s, I also served in the International Department, providing second opinions for patients from abroad and coordinating cross-border medical care. These experiences taught me that medical decisions are shaped not only by clinical factors but also by culture, information gaps, and timely access to reliable expertise.
I later spent three years in Bangladesh, working alongside local physicians and supporting Japanese expatriates and international organizations. In several complex situations, I coordinated urgent medical evacuations to Japan, navigating both clinical and logistical challenges under severe time pressure.
Companies operating in developing countries face unique vulnerabilities—not just health risks for employees, but the complexities of local medical and legal systems. These realities highlighted a simple truth:
Companies need medical insight to choose the best option when they operate abroad.
Whether expanding overseas, managing supply chains, or safeguarding key personnel, organizations need independent expertise that bridges clinical realities with strategic objectives.
Through LotusLink, we work with leadership teams to strengthen organizational resilience. We review medical risks at the start of a project and when a company moves into a new area. We also look at local healthcare conditions, prepare for emergencies, and help build systems that keep employees and business operations safe. As a licensed Occupational Health Physician in Japan, I also provide bilingual (English-Japanese) occupational health services to support companies in health governance, compliance, and workplace risk management.
My goal is to be a trusted partner to your organization—providing strategic and calm insight wherever medical expertise is needed at the decision-making table.

Our Services
Healthcare Risk Advisory Services
At Lotus Link, physicians with extensive clinical and international experience lead our work, supported by team members from diverse backgrounds. We help companies understand medical risks they may face overseas and offer practical solutions.
Services include
1|Cross-Border Health Intelligence
When working overseas, companies often face situations that require quick decision-making with limited information. Local health care systems, available resources and any unexpected local rule can all become major challenges.
We explain region-specific medical and health risks in clear terms and provide practical steps that companies can take.
By sharing the realities of local healthcare standards, we help organizations make the best decisions.
Our services cover both developed and developing countries.
2|Medical Evaluation & Health Governance
We provide the medical groundwork needed when companies expand overseas or open new sites.
We assess the feasibility of international health technologies and detect legal and cultural barriers that may affect local implementation. We also review local healthcare infrastructure, medical projects, partner institutions, and legal risks in releasing medical products—areas that companies often overlook but require expert judgment in.
3|Occupational Health & Corpoeate Health Advisory
As a licensed occupational health doctor with extensive clinical experience, I support companies in building practical health governance and safe working environments. Risks in developing and emerging countries are not limited to the level of their medical care. Employees can be mentally depressed without realizing it, simply because the environment is so different from what they are used to.
By picking up early signs of physical and mental stress, we can protect not only the individual but also the overall performance of your team.
All services are available both in English and Japanese, including full occupational health support for companies based in Japan.
4|Furutre Project: Mobile Screening & Data Solutions
We are currently looking for partners who share our views to collaborate.
While medical care in developed countries is guided by established guidelines, many regions around the world still lack an adequate oversight system. The quality and safety of healthcare vary widely by region, and these gaps affect people far beyond national borders. As long as people continue to move across countries, no country remains healthy in isolation.
With mobile medical services, we hope to reach communities that lack access to care. Additionally, by building health databases in places where data has long been missing, we hope to shed light on overlooked realities and make the world healthier.

We aim to improve global healthcare from where it’s needed most, and welcome partners who share this vision.
The mobile screening project is not only about delivering health screening to areas with limited medical access. Our aim is to generate reliable health data from regions where evidence is scarce, while providing mobile medical services across underserved areas in South Asia.
Many cities in South Asia have some of the worst Air Quality Index (AQI) levels in the world, and residents frequently suffer from unexplained fevers and chronic coughs. In addition, antibiotics can often be purchased over the counter, leading to widespread, guideline-inconsistent use and a growing crisis of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
By collecting and analyzing diagnostic data through mobile screening units, we can visualize the distribution of major diseases, patterns of AMR, and the true epidemiology of infectious conditions across regions.
Such datasets will serve not only to improve local healthcare, but also as a critical evidence base for companies, governments, and international organizations to design policies grounded in scientific data.
Our goal is to evolve mobile screening from a service into a platform for evidence generation – supporting better community health, advancing research, and informing public policy.
Through this approach, we aim to drive transformative improvements in global health, starting from emerging economies.
